Ships History
Another classic vessel built at the Leith Shipyards of Ramage & Fergusons Shipbuilders, she was in fact the second build of the same vessel with the first being started in 1913, but the start of World War One changed everything, and once her hull was completed the Admiralty took her over and had her hull towed to Gibraltar to use her as an oil hulk. This first ship would have been the first 5 masted barque to have been built in Europe had she been able to fulfill her owners original ideas.

The second KOBENHAVN was the ship that was completed as one of the finest looking "Windjammers" ever to take to the seven seas.

The story and history of the KOBENHAVN will be added soon.
