16" X 20" oil painting of the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand M.V.KOPARA

A wonderful close up original oil painting by an artist who served on the ship, the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand coaster M.V.KOPARA built in the Leith Shipyards of Henry Robb in Scotland (Ship No 268) she was a well known sight around the coasts of New Zealand.  This painting depicts the ship in her original colour scheme when she was with her first owners Richardson & Company of Napier New Zealand.

Painted by the artist Charles Fawcett who served on the ship, so has a real affinity for how she looked at the time.

KOPARA at the quayside is sold "un-framed" please contact us for shipping cost.
